We found ourselves once again in Phuket, but this time we were looking for a special and somewhat less well-known place to stay. We got a little fed up with popular luxury hotels where dress-to-impress travellers check-in to take photos of them in the “famous” pool villas.
Luckily we came across this hidden gem in a prestigious private estate in West Phuket: Villa Baan Phu Prana private luxury boutique villa.
I heard many good things about Cape Panwa Hotel since many moons ago, so I was very pleased to know I would get to spend a few nights there. I was booked by the hotel to host their biggest events of the year: Christmas Eve Dinner and New Year’s Eve Celebration.

Cape Panwa is known as one of the first luxury hotels in Phuket, Thailand, and it was established in 1980. It has an impressive repertoire of world’s famous guests including Elizabeth Taylor, Pierce Bronsnan, Leonardo DiCaprio, Catherine Zeta-Jones and many more.
“Welcome to your pool villa, Madam”, said the staff who unlocked the beautiful hand-carved wooden door before us. This was the next thing we saw. This was our very own pool villa for the weekend.

We were greeted by a team of staff as I stepped on to the resort’s private speed boat at Ao Po Grand Marina in Phuket. “Please sit back and relax. We will be arriving in only 20 minutes, Madame”, said one of the staff. Then the boat took off.

The is a myth that says every single rice grain is home to seven gods and thus rice has been considered precious.
A few weeks ago I was introduced by a friend to a premium Japanese skincare brand called RICE FORCE which boasts its “nature’s energy” from rice. As am all about organic and natural products and don’t always stick to the usual mainstream brands, I was intrigued to find out more.

Locally known as “Mu Koh Surin”, this hidden gem is an archipelago of five islands 60km from Phang-Nga province on the West Coast. Being a 100% Thai native, I have been to many beautiful places in Thailand. But what has made Mu Koh Surin my all-time-favourite destination?

As a first-timer hence a complete beginner at Freediving without any experiences in Scuba diving, I felt incredibly blessed to be learning to do it here.
