ปีนี้เป็นปีที่ 2 แล้ว ที่งาน Global Event สำหรับสาว ๆ สุดฮิปของ Roxy ที่ชื่อว่า Make Waves Move Mountains Tour มาจัดที่เมืองไทย โดยในงานจะมีกิจกรรมหลัก ๆ คือ ROXY FUN RUN 4.5km และ YOGA 1 ชั่วโมงเต็ม และคราวนี้จัดที่ภูเก็ตเช่นเดียวกับปีก่อนค่ะ
2018 is the second year that Thailand got to be a part of Roxy’s global women empowering campaign Make Waves Move Mountains Tour. Having FUN RUN & YOGA as their main activities, this event was hosted Phuket, one of the country’s most popular beach and sport tourism destinations.
เส้นทางวิ่ง ถึงแม้จะยาวเพียงแค่ 4.5 ก.ม. แต่เป็นเส้นทางที่สวยมาก เป็นการวิ่งแนบแนวทะเลเกือบตลอดสายค่ะ โดยเริ่มต้นที่แหลมพรมเทพ (เป็นจัดชมวิวพระอาทิตย์ตกที่มีชื่อที่สุดของภูเก็ต) มีการวิ่งขึ้นเขาลงเขาบนเส้นถนนผ่านป่าที่เขียวฉอุ่ม ระหว่างทางก็มีผ่านจุดชมวิวสวย ๆ อีก มีการวิ่งรอบทะเลสาบเล็ก ๆ และปิดท้ายที่หาดในหาญ เรียกได้ว่า ถึงเส้นทางวิ่งจะสั้น แต่ได้สัมผัสธรรมชาติของภูเก็ตครบรูปแบบเลยค่ะ
Starting at the stunning Promthep Cape, he 4.5km running route–short but sweet–includes various beautiful landscapes of Phuket: some hills, viewpoints over looking to ocean, some flats around a lake and the beautiful Nai Harn beach.
งานนี้มีเหล่าบล๊อกเกอร์ชื่อดังและดารามาร่วมวิ่งกันเยอะเลยค่ะ ทั้ง สาว Roxy Girl Happy Nancy อ้อม กานต์พิศชา ลูกตาล ทิพย์รัตน์ สำหรับหนุ่ม ๆ ก็มี โตโน่ ภาคิน ฟิลิปป์ The Face Men และ ต๊ะ Sufer’s Holiday ฯลฯ
Though event was aimed to empower women and celebrate their strength, it was also participated by a few male influencers and celebrities!
และหลังจากที่ทุกคนวิ่งเข้าเส้นชัยกันและพักผ่อนกินขนมนมเนยเติมพลังกันเรียบร้อยแล้ว เรายังได้เรียนโยคะ 1 ชั่วโมงเต็ม ๆ กับ “ครูเอก-โยคะ” หรือ ครูเอก-พงศ์พิพัฒน์ เกียรติประพิณ ผู้ก่อตั้ง Yoga & ME หนึ่งในผู้อยู่เบื้องหลังความสำเร็จการฝึกโยคะของดาราหลายคนอย่างเช่น ชมพู่ อารยา และ กาละแมร์ พัชรศรีอีกด้วย
After having completed the run, some finishers stayed for a 1-hour yoga session lead by the founder of Yoga & ME, “Kru Ake”. Kru Ake is known as one of Thailand’s top yoga instructors works closely with some of the country’s most successful actresses and TV personalities.

I must say one of the highlight of this trip for me me getting to meet 2 of my sports girl crushes in person: Torah Bright Gold & Silver medal Olympic professional snowboarder from Australia and Mainei Kinimaka ROXY model and professional surfer from Hawaii!

Here are some must-have’s for this trip: ANESSA Perfect UV sunscreen skincare milk SPF50 PA++++ and ZA True White Essence Lotion. This high-performance water-resistant sunscreen was so light on my skin and didn’t feel make me feel like I had some oily glue on my face at all. The essence lotion was perfect as a post-sun & sea pamper (I went surfing afterwards too LOL). It didn’t make my skin white, but it gave a healthy bright glow to my tan while boosting my skin’s moisture level overnight too!

As I was invited to join this campaign’s event as a blogger, I’m ending this blog with some bonus content: ROXY GIRL and influencers’ activities.
ก่อนอื่นเลยขอบอกว่า พวกเราบิน Bangkok Airways กันจากที่กรุงเทพฯ ลงไปที่ภูเก็ต พอมาถึงสนามบินปุ๊บก็ได้เจอสาว Roxy Girl น้อง Happy Nancy เลยค่ะ
First of all, upon arrival at Bangkok Airways‘ check-in counter at Suvarnabhumi airport, I got to meet Thailand’s ROXY girl Happy Nancy!
พอพวกเราลงเครื่องปุ๊บ พวกเราก็เริ่มด้วยการแวะไปเยี่ยมร้าน ROXY & QUIKSILVER shop ที่ Junceylon Mall Patong Phuket กันเลย ขอบอกว่า สาขานี้ของสวยเยอะมาก ๆ ทั้งชุด Bikini, rashguard, dive wetsuit, surf suit, beach wear และ beach accessories ทั่วไป มีหมดสำหรับผู้หญิงและผู้ชายเลยค่ะ (Bikini ผู้ชายไม่มีนะคะ 555)
Our first destination in Phuket was the ROXY & QUIKSILVER shop in Junceylon Mall, Patong, Phuket. This particular shop is larger than most other branches and a considerably large variety of outdoor & water sports clothing selections (bikinis, yoga & gym outfits, diving wetsuits, surf suits, rash guards, beach accessories, etc.). Mankinis are, unfortunately, not available here… (hahaha!).
จากนั้นเราก็ไปกินข้าวกันที่ร้าน Naughty Nuri’s แถวหาดป่าตอง เป็นร้านที่เท่หมากค่ะ การแต่งร้านและอาหารจะออกแนว Bali fusion เน้นส่วนประกอบที่เป็นหมูกรอบและซี่โครงหมู แต่สำหรับคนที่เน้นการทานอาหารเพื่อสุขภาพ ก็สามารถสั่งสลัดได้หลายอย่างเลย ชิมดูแล้วอร่อยหมดทุกจานค่ะ
We then moved to Naughty Nuri’s in Patong, a Balinese-inspired restaurant specialising in crispy pork belly and pork ribs. A few healthier options, salads and fresh fruit juice are available on the menu too.
ทริปนี้เราพักกันที่โรงแรม Thavorn Palm Beach Resort Karon ค่ะ โรงแรมเครือนี้เป็นโรงแรม 5 ดาวโรงแรมแรก ๆ ของภูเก็ตเลย สำหรับสาขานี้ถึงจะเปิดมาตั้งแต่ปี 2529 แต่มีการปรับปรุงให้ใหม่ สวย สะอาดอยู่ตลอด ตรงบริเวณ Lobby สวยมากค่ะ ตกแต่งเป็นแนว Colonial และบริเวณด้านน้อกก็เต็มไปด้วยต้นไม้ ดอกไม้ เรียกได้ว่าพักที่นี่เท่ากับได้อยู่กับธรรมชาติเต็ม ๆ เลยค่ะ
On this trip we stayed at Thavorn Palm Beach Resort Karon, one Phuket’s very first 5* beach resorts. Since its establishment in 1986, the resort has been very well-maintained and gone through major renovations, resulting in it still being in a great condition with a beautiful colonial theme. The resort also values the premise’s original natural environment and hence has kept as well as added many trees, plants everywhere in the resort!
ตอนเย็นเรามี Welcome Dinner กัน และแน่นอน Theme สีก็คือสีชมพู เข้ากับ theme ของ Make Waves Move Mountains เลยค่ะ ทุกคนไม่อยู่ดึกกันเพราะต้องเตรียมแรงไว้สำหรับวันถัดไป ซึ่ง activity จัดเต็มมากค่ะ
The theme for the welcome dinner was, of course, pink. We all had an early night and really looked forward to the fun and activity-filled day the next morning!
สุดท้ายนี้ ขอเพิ่มเติมว่า นอกจากที่เราตื่นกันมาวิ่งและทำโยคะแล้ว ก่อนวิ่ง เรายังมีกิจกรรม ZUMBA และหลังวิ่ง เราก็ยังไปเรียนเล่น Surf กันที่ The Boathouse บนหาดกะตะอีก เรียกได้ว่า วันนั้นทั้งวันถูกใจสาวสาย lifestyle ROXY มากค่ะ เราจะไม่หยุดจนเราหมดแรง 555
In additional to the fun run and 1-hour yoga session, we also did ZUMBA and went out learning to surf in front of Kata beach too! Why stop exercising when it wasn’t time for bed yet? I guess this was an average day of a ROXY girl hahaha
และท้ายที่สุด ทริปดี ๆ โดย ROXY & BANGKOK AIRWAYS นี้จบลงด้วยปาร์ตี้สุด hip ที่ Surf House Patong Phuket ค่ะ มีโชว์เล่น flow surf โดยนักเล่น flow surf มีโตโน่ ภาคิน นำทีม Tono & the Dust มาเล่นคอนเสิร์ตสุดมันส์ และ DJ Philip The Face Men Thailand มาเปิดแผ่นกันต่อด้วย พูดได้เลยว่าทริปนี้สนุกสุดยอด มีทุกรูปแบบเลยค่ะ 🙂
This awesome trip by ROXY & BANGKOK AIRWAYS ended with an upbeat party at Surf House Patong Phuket, where we all got to professional flow surfers show off their skills! On top of that there was a fun concert by Tono & The Dust as well as lots of late-night dancing with Philip The Face Men Thailand as our DJ! Let’s just say this trip was pretty much full-on and we all had a blast!
